Revelation, Redemption and fiscal probity

Its raining, my tax bill has arrived, and I am behind on my rent, xmas is coming, more expenses and less income. In short, scarcity, the lack of necessities for a comfortable life. Guilt raises its ugly little head “how can you be so financially irresponsible?” it screams in my mind “what good is all this realization mumbo jumbo if you can’t meet your obligations?”, “You are a dreamer my friend!”. What can I say but “you are right” and hang my own head low. At times like this the spiritual life recedes like a mirage, and it is as if the awakening was itself a dream. So it goes, the great pendulum swings between material existence and spiritual life, we cling to our faith. Every situation brings a lesson, humility, gratitude, renewal. Our obligations as humans extend to all aspects of creation, love, work and knowledge. The Yogi has his house in order even as she holds the universe in her heart. This is immanent transcendence, all is truth, money and love two sides of the same coin, held in the palm of consciousness, itself an expression of divine will. “If you want to raise the kundalini, feed someone!” – Meher Baba.

About the naked human

the naked human is what we are underneath. When we shed our thoughts and look calmly in the mirror upon the light of the soul. Peace and Love.
